Walter Lopez serves as a Network Engineer at Allied IT Systems, bringing more than 12 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, architecture, administration, and security, with deep expertise in Cisco technologies.

His background includes Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, FirePower, routing and switching, load balancing, hosted collaboration platforms, and network security. Walter has also led security certification audit efforts involving PCI-DSS, SOC, HIPAA, and ISO requirements, and previously served in Cisco TAC leadership and technical training roles.

He holds advanced certifications including CCIE Security, CCNP Security, CCNP Routing & Switching, CCNA Voice, and Google Cloud credentials. At Allied, Walter applies that depth of experience to designing, securing, and supporting resilient network environments for clients.
